Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information Rototure ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Rototure you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and display name. Authentication is handled by our identity provider, Supabase.
- Usage data. We record which articles you read (to enforce free-tier limits and improve your feed), saved articles, and your preferences such as default league and email-digest opt-in.
- Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — only a customer reference and your current plan.
- Contact & newsletter. If you email us or subscribe to the digest, we store the address and message you provide.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the service — your feed, saved articles, and account.
- To enforce free-tier reading limits and manage subscriptions.
- To send the daily digest and service notifications you've opted into.
- To respond to your messages and improve the product.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the processors that run the service — Supabase (authentication and database) and Stripe (payments) — and only as needed to operate Rototure or as required by law.
4. Your choices
You can update your display name and preferences, or opt out of the email digest, from your account settings at any time. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
5. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account we remove your personal data, except where we're required to retain records (for example, billing history).
